When a Zalando package is not delivered to the recipient, the process varies depending on the circumstances of the non-delivery. Generally, the courier attempts delivery several times. If these are unsuccessful, the package can be left at a local collection point (for example, a post office or a participating shop) where the recipient can collect it within a certain period of time. If the package is not collected or it is not possible to leave it at a collection point, the courier will return it to the Zalando warehouse. From the warehouse, Zalando will attempt to contact the customer to resolve the situation, which may include a retry of shipment or a refund.
