What can't I sell on Etsy?

On Etsy, which is a platform focused on selling handmade, vintage products and craft supplies, you are not allowed to sell certain types of items. Among these are excluded:

– Objects that are not handmade, not vintage (at least 20 years old) or not related to materials for artisanal creations;
– Food or any type of product for ingestion, although some exceptions may apply to pre-packaged artisanal foods or ingredients for the creation of foods;
– Weapons, ammunition and related products, including, but not limited to, firearms, ammunition, combat or tactical knives, and weapon parts;
– Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, medicines and parapharmaceuticals;
– Items promoted as having medicinal or healing properties;
– Live animals, animal remains or taxidermy;
– Pornographic or adult materials of an explicit nature;
– Items stolen, counterfeit or without prior trademark or copyright authorization.

Etsy also requires that all items comply with applicable laws and consumer safety regulations. We recommend consulting Etsy's official guidelines for an updated and detailed list of selling policies.
